Eight members of the group SNSD (English name Girls’ Generation) were charming and youthful at the press conference on the afternoon of October 19.
– After two years of establishment, Girls’ Generation’s reputation is not only in Korea but has spread to Asia.
– We don’t have too many advantages to really stand out or appeal strongly to the audience’s tastes.
– Not only are they singers, SNSD members also participate in many entertainment activities such as acting, DJing, MCing… How do you balance personal matters and interests with work and interests?
– The members of Girls’ Generation are all very young and we have too much work to do while everyone only has 24 hours a day.
Before the singing group was formed, we were trained in music, acting or hosting skills.
There are many cases where our work cannot be arranged to harmonize with each other.
Yoona – the saintly blind girl in `You are my destiny` – attracted a lot of attention from reporters’ lenses.
– In Vietnam, SNSD’s fan club was born in 2007, shortly after Girls’ Generation was founded.
– Oh (in unison, they put their hands on their hearts and smiled).
– Compared to Asian fans, how do Vietnamese fans leave an impression on you?
– We have been to most Asian countries, but nowhere have we received as much love as in Vietnam.
It’s so sweet when you go to a strange place but it feels like home.
SNSD member and movie star Kim Ha Neul, singer Son Ho Young.
– `If we knew how much we were admired, we would have come to Vietnam sooner` – so how do you plan to return to the country where there are so many young people who admire you?
– We wish to visit your country more often.
– What are SNSD’s plans after this tour?
– After leaving Vietnam, we will return to Korea to rest for a few days and then start preparing the new album.
