Director Tran Canh Don passed away 3
The visitation ceremony began at 2:00 p.m. on October 22 at Vinh Nghiem Pagoda, District 3. On the morning of October 25, the coffin was taken for cremation at Hoa An cemetery, Binh Duong.
Actress Viet Trinh said she received news from the Ho Chi Minh City Film Association this morning and was still shocked.
Viet Trinh said that when Tran Canh Don made the movie Ly Thong – Thach Sanh, she played a supporting role, appearing in the scene where a servant carries water for Ly Thong’s mother (played by Thanh Loc).

Although hot-tempered, he is emotional.
Tran Canh Don is one of the veteran directors of the southern film industry.
The artist continues to leave an impression on the audience through films such as: The Last Scene in Bangkok, Poor Goalkeeper, When People Are Young, The Circle of Sin… He once discovered and helped actors to win shows.
When the film market declined, he turned to directing many music videos and making advertising films.
