Miss Ky Duyen: 'I never cry when criticized' 3
– What do you think about the mixed responses after you recently expressed your desire to compete in Miss World?
– The intention to participate in the Miss World contest is my own wish, but it is not said that I can do it.
The past year was just a period of time for me to get used to the showbiz environment.
Ky Duyen hopes that the change in image in 2016 will be well received by the audience.
– Some people don’t support it because of the scandals related to Miss Ky Duyen’s public image, what do you say?
– When I was first crowned Miss Vietnam 2014, I was very overwhelmed and could not immediately adapt to carrying the title.
But luckily, at the end of 2015, I found a companion team.
– How do you react to criticism of yourself?
– The heaviest moment was after the coronation, I was just stunned because I had never had so many people surrounding me and fierce criticism.
– With the intention of participating in an international beauty contest, how do you plan to improve yourself?
– Currently, I find myself weakest in my ability to pose on camera and on stage.
In 2016 I will go South.
Miss Vietnam 2014 will participate more actively in volunteer activities in 2016.
– Your parents always take care of you and support you. If you move to the South, how will you take care of yourself?
– Many people think that I depend on my parents when they see images of them pushing luggage, lifting skirts, getting food… to help me.
Now, my parents are my emotional support, helping me not feel lonely.
– What has the title of beauty queen changed in your life?
– Life turns to a completely different page.
At the end of 2015, I had memorable charity trips.
Ky Duyen believes that she has more opportunities to experience life and people when she becomes Miss Vietnam.
– What about Love?
– Currently, I don’t have a boyfriend.
