The focus of attention of Hanoi people last weekend was the Cat Linh – Ha Dong elevated railway, which officially opened free of charge for passengers to experience.
Arriving at Cat Linh station quite early, around 8:00 a.m. on Sunday, November 7, I was very surprised by the huge number of people gathered here.
People lined up waiting to experience the skytrain
People lined up waiting to experience the Cat Linh – Ha Dong train.
People keep `throwing stones` and criticizing when this project is behind schedule and has increased capital over many years, but in fact it is still the expectation of Hanoi people.
Please ignore the concerns related to Covid-19 epidemic prevention safety when the number of people gathered here was too large over the past two weekends, not ensuring a safe distance.
>> I agree to walk 2 km to use the Cat Linh – Ha Dong train
Some people say: `It’s just that because it’s open for free, people follow the crowd mentality to check-in this and that`, but I don’t think so.
Remember, Hanoians have never ignored public transportation.
Most of the people who complain all day long about how inconvenient the bus is and how poor the service quality is are people who never take the bus.
And I believe, with the initial experiences not being bad, according to my feelings and the comments of those around me, the sky train will soon become a friendly means of transportation, receiving a lot of support from the people.
Looking at the line of people lining up at the station today, we can see how important and necessary this project is.
We are on the right track for the future of public transportation.
