Joey Schusler, an American photographer and videographer, and three friends went on a cycling journey on the White Rim Trail.
Returning to this place for the third time, everyone’s impression of the strange beauty of the White Rim Trail grew stronger.
Biking the White Rim Trail is not an easy experience.
Instead of taking a car all the way, Joey and his friends chose bicycles as their means of travel.
The cycling challenge starts with the first 32 km before descending to Mineral Bottom (a 16 km long sunken road) and then along the banks of the Green River covered with fresh green grass.
At noon, the group set up a tent to rest and bathe in the nearby river to relieve the fatigue of the morning cycling journey.
Joey bathed in the river during lunch break on the first day.
The second day of the trip started out full of energy because everyone practiced a bit before continuing to cycle.
The group stopped and had lunch in a very beautiful place, where everyone had the opportunity to see the layers of soil that make up the White Rim Trail.
As afternoon approaches, the weather changes and a storm appears.
Along the way Joey and his friends can observe the geological layers that make up the White Rim area.
The storm itself created a spectacular scene with rainbows and countless small brown waterfalls.
About the last 10 km, my leg muscles began to tire as if I just wanted to stop immediately.
Note
You can cycle the entire White Rim Trail in one day, but for strong cyclists it only takes 10 hours.
Spring and autumn are the best times to cycle here.
There are no water vendors on the way so you need to prepare carefully in advance.
Your support vehicle must be a two-wheel drive car (4-wheel drive vehicle).
A group trip usually takes about 2 – 5 days.
