'Run and count' - 16+ movie filled with laughter during the Tet season 1

The film is about a female nightclub singer in her 30s – Phuong Trinh (played by Diem My) – who dreams of escaping a life of poverty with her husband who sells soy milk named Dong Hung (Hua Vi Van) and her 12-year-old child Subin.

In the 100-minute movie, more than half of the time is devoted to the escapades of Phuong Trinh’s family.
The film’s laughter was built by the pair of directors based on the strengths of situational comedy.

The cast in the movie is evenly matched in terms of acting.
Hua Vi Van portrays the gentle, somewhat weak character of a husband who cannot be the breadwinner of the family.
Characters like Viet Huong, Dieu Nhi, Puka… also fulfill their duty of creating laughter.
Road trip comedies are not strange in the field of romantic and family dramas in Hollywood.
Character creation and acting are exaggerated to make people laugh.
The screenplay creates a climax with intense details from the beginning.
