The information was announced by Director of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health Nguyen Tan Binh at an online meeting of Ho Chi Minh City’s Covid-19 Prevention Steering Committee on the afternoon of July 31.
These cases have initial positive Covid-19 test results, awaiting announcement by the Ministry of Health.
These are people who have been treated and taken care of at hospitals in Da Nang.
Authorities blocked three houses in Tan Phu district because they were related to a woman suspected of being infected with nCoV.
On July 23, the patient and his family took an ambulance rented by a garage in Quang Ngai from Da Nang Hospital to Cho Ray Hospital for examination.
The second case is a female, 61 years old, in Phu Tho Hoa ward, Tan Phu district, who visited and directly took care of `patient 436` at Da Nang Hospital from July 20 to July 23.
The third case is also female, 57 years old, living in Ward 12, District 10, directly taking care of relatives who are patients at Hoan My Da Nang Hospital, Da Nang General Hospital from July 1 to July 20.
On July 27, the patient had an itchy throat and low phlegm, so he went to District 10 Hospital for examination and was taken to the hospital’s screening area, reporting to District 10 Medical Center for centralized quarantine.
Since last night, Thu Duc, Tan Phu and 10 districts have zoned, blocked and disinfected places with suspected cases of nCoV infection in the area.
According to records, on the afternoon of July 31, a blockade fence was erected in front of 3 closed adjacent houses at 46-48-50 Phu Tho Hoa Street, Tan Phu District.
